The school offers the proper education for students to become well prepared to work in diverse and culturally responsive health professions. Our focus is to train highly qualified professionals to promote the health of poor, urban and underserved communities.

Programs

Health Education

Students with a strong interest in learning healthy behaviors and how to teach those healthy behaviors to others in the community.

Nursing

Aiming to prepare nurses to meet the challenges of a dynamic, changing, and emerging health care setting, this program teaches graduates to provide safe, effective, and evidenced-based practice as baccalaureate nurses.

Nutritional Sciences

Students will study the science of food and nutrition and how it affects metabolism, causes/cures disease and impacts cultures and communities.
